Tie Break - "Duch wieje kędy chce", kaseta, 1990

Nie mam czasu nic napisać. Super rzadka rzecz. Świetna, choć wydawało mi się kiedyś inaczej. Edycja Paulińska 1990. Mediafire, 106 Mb.
ps. jeśli utwór a2 się Wam nie rozpakowuje, to macie go tutaj.

In a few days I'll be able [EDIT: I wasn't...] to sit down and write a thing or two about this super-super rare 1990 cassette from Tie Break released by The Pauline Fathers Edition. Excellent stuff. Mediafire, 106 Mb.
ps. should you have trouble unpacking song A2, it is separately here.

Hi mietek!

off-topic
just an answer to the question you asked on our blog:

thanks for pointing out these.
BTW, it has always seemed strange to me that as there are countless Can 70's live recordings, there is ZERO of the same from Faust. I'd so much like to be wrong about that.

mietek,

I think the reason is that Faust didn't play live (or only very rarely) after the release of their first album...and they disbanded in 1975 until the Nineties.

Maybe my co-editor hh who is a big Krautrock expert can tell you more.

mietek,
bum's answer is quite right,
Faust's 1. album sold less 1000 copies + first live gig, end 1971 @ Musikhalle Hamburg is rewieved as a desaster, unfortunately by unabilty in managing their machinery. so 2. album only relesed in UK, where Faust emigrated 1973 where their live debut was 19 May.
Bootlegging in early 70s more complicated and only few would have recorded unknown bands these days, I think.
Interesting pheomen is that in present 2 Faust bands exist, both performing with same name and have their yearly (avantgarde)Festival @ their homes.
Faust north (Diermaier + Peron)
+
Faust south (Irmler)

thank you sirs!!!

i didn't know about those names - north and south. strangely enough, i think the both parties have more or less the same right to the name. but the south Faust don't release records, do they?

a few years ago, on Faust's site there was - i don't know if still is - an account of a British gig of Faust from around 1973: supposedly an hour of an all-out free noise, but at times all the band members were singing acapella, at times all were playing synths/electronics; the gig also featured a man handling a sledgehammer - all amplified & thru the PA! how i wish i had been there...
